“Teaching is exceptional. Experienced, well-trained staff carefully observe and play alongside children, and create learning opportunities that challenge and extend children's thinking and understanding. Children make excellent progress in their learning”

Our Approach to Learning

Children use play to form the basis of their learning. This is why we make sure that we have many different and varied opportunities throughout the Nursery environment for them to do this. We constantly look to modernise and upgrade our facilities to make sure that all children have access to high quality equipment and can develop as far as possible during their time with us and that they are totally prepared for school.

We also practice free-flow play for every age group, meaning that the children are free to choose an indoor or outdoor environment to learn in depending on how they feel. This ethos is based upon the EYFS guidance and has been adapted to perfectly suit our unique environments.

The EYFS is a government framework which sets the guidelines for learning, development and care of all children from birth to 5 years old. It has four themes that underpin all the guiding principles that we follow to give you confidence that every day your child is in our care they are learning new skills that will prepare and set them up for life.

  • A unique child

  • Positive relationships

  • Enabling environments

  • Learning and Development
